Happy Birthday! At age 4, you are equal parts koala and flight risk :)
You have such a sweet disposition and love to cuddle and be carried. You are also intense and run like a bulldog. Our pastor predicts you will make a good middle linebacker. Your anger flares and
subsides quickly because you are easily distractable, definitely sanguine. Everything is better with a hug though, and you give great ones! You love your
brothers and share most of your interests with Joseph. Whenever Gus begins to make noise after a nap, you gasp dramatically and exclaim, "Gus is awake!" and run to greet him. Your blanket has
been personified into a "he" and you even cut a little bit so I would
mend it with red thread so "he" would have a mouth. Lollipops are your
favorite treat. You avoid shoes, socks and long pants if at all
possible. Green is your favorite color. Retro Spiderman and Godzilla are your favorite Netflix selections. You want to be a dad when you
grow up. You love to collect the change from your Dad's nightstand and have quite a stash. You and Joseph donated over $30 of pilfered money to help build "your church". The camera, especially dad's camera phone, is perhaps your favorite "toy". You take multiple photos of random mundane objects. You took a video of me checking Gus's diaper! You regularly request to wrestle. You like to dance and make up songs and have a flair for the dramatic-full of personality! You and Dad play a game where you invent dances to various ringtones. Your legs are starting to catch up with the rest of you, but you are still rather leprechaun like!
Such an important birthday required a multi-day celebration!
Dinner at Runza (with a playland) with all your grandparents, cousin Sam and family.
An evening trip to Morrill Hall.
The new exhibit includes this Terror Bird.
You climbed the hand railing (Dad approved the safety of this new trick, Mom did not!)
But you succeeded, many times!
Godzilla topped brownies with your neighborhood friends.
And a visit from your Godparents!
