I was excited when Joseph brought home his first ever drawing of a person (in his favorite color green of course)!

exploration place
The Wichita Children's Museum (free with our reciprocal pass!) was so much fun! We never really made it out of this castle exhibit. The boys had so much fun with the knights, dragons, banquet hall food, observatory and model musical instruments.
A knight's armor
Our family crest (designed by Jude and the boys): the fleur-de-lys represents France and me (Mary too), the animal represents the boys favorite pastime (pretending to be animals), the castle is for Dad (since he tries to provide a nice home) and the green is Joseph and my favorite color (Leo's is yellow and Jude's is blue, so combined they are green too).

at the beach
The boys got their first taste of salt water (literally)!
We had lots of fun wading,
digging,
collecting (seaweed) and swimming.
Here is a (creepy to me, cool to the boys) sand creature with a mouth that we watched un-burrow...
and tie itself into a knot!

out on the bay
We went for a boat ride around Galveston Bay.
Joseph chillaxin' with Uncle Zach and Aunt Karla.
Captain Billy, Tracia (and Baby Girl!), Autumn and Jude
Nana trying to get Leo to look.
We had a relaxing morning outing and spotted dolphins too!
