Valentine dots, so easy and so yummy, I adapted the recipe to use candy melts rather than Hugs and Kisses (I was not excited about all the unwrapping) and I foresee many colorful variations in our future!

Tiramisu bundt cake for Bible study, in its un-frosted state, just to share my joy in the discovery of Wilton's Cake Release.  I used to have issues getting the cake out of the pan in one piece-never again!  Thank you Amber!

Tonight we were talking to Joseph about St. Michael, whom he currently intends to take as his confirmation saint (just like dad!) and I mentioned that the St. Michael prayer was written by Pope Leo XIII, Leo's patron saint.  Leo became excited and started pointing at himself, when I told him that it was his saint, he wasn't the pope, he flopped on the floor with a plaintive cry.  When we asked what was wrong, he replied "I am crying because I am not the Pope!  I am not the Pope!"

As we were preparing to visit school, Joseph said "Pick out a uniform for me!" He, who normally does not like polos, happily changed into his white shirt and navy pants. When we came home he gathered supplies from the list, even though I assured him we would by brand new things in the fall.  He is so excited to learn to read and go to school all-day!

Joseph took the camera to school today, he told me he was going to, but I didn't realize he had gotten it out until I picked him up and saw it in his cubby. He photographed their various activities and his teacher said the other students were excited to have their photos taken!
