My friend Amber captured this cute photo of her daughter Isabelle and Leo at our local Rally to Protect Religious Freedom.

Happy Birthday Jude!
The boys wrapped their gift and decorated it as an image of the new church.
Their Dollar Tree choices for dad were a glow-in-the-dark sword and axe. Just what he has always wanted!

his and her
I have been wanting to check out the International Quilt Museum, so National Quilting Day seemed like the perfect opportunity to visit. The boys did well for a little while, then headed across the street to the arboretum with Jude.

After lunch we decided to balance our the day with the Lawn and Leisure show. They loved the machines, fire and waterfalls!

junior acheivement
The kindergarten classes sold snacks to other students to raise money for new listening stations in both kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms. I helped supervise one of the tables and Leo was an enthusiastic customer!
They raised almost enough during the snack sales, so they made a final push with donuts (generously donated by the Knights of Columbus) after Sunday Mass. Joseph volunteered to make the announcement. Here is a photo of him after practicing Saturday-he did great! In the end they raised $1,579.96! He said JA was his favorite class, yet another way he takes after Dad :)
